We offer competitive pricing on same brand and quality products. If you saw the same item elsewhere for less, we'll try to match or beat the price.
We do our best to maintain the prices in this catalog, but because of today's changing market we reserve the right to change our prices without any notice.

Ordering Help
Guarantee
John's Mustang guarantees that all new and reproduced products against defects in workmanship and material. Liability of John's Mustang is limited to the replacement of defective parts. If John's Mustang cannot provide a suitable replacement for a defective part, we will refund you the full price of your originally purchased item. Our guarantee excludes N.O.S. items, used parts, and any items sold "as-is".
If you are not satisfied with a purchase and would like to make an exchange or return please do so within 30 days. If the error is our fault, we will pay for shipping both ways. All parts must be returned prepaid by the least expensive way of transportation.
Please note: There are no returns or exchanges on the following: High performance parts, stripe kits, electrical parts, literature, special order items, or any part where installation has been attempted.
Availability
We carry a large in-stock inventory in our 50,000 sq ft. warehouse. Therefore, all orders are shipped within 24 hrs, or we will give notice otherwise.
We require a customer phone number and email address just in case a problem may arise.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Texas (TX). Texas State laws requires that we charge sales tax on the full amount of the order. Because charges for shipping are considered part of the product, we are obligated to include these charges in calculating sales tax.
Since shipping and handling is calculated when your order is processed, the sales tax amount quoted online under-estimate the actual tax you will pay.
If you wish to claim your Texas tax-exempt status, please provide us with a copy of your Texas State Resale Certificate. Once we have it on file, we will not charge you tax when we process your order.
Core Deposits
Some rebuilt parts require the customer to provide John's Mustang with their original part. In cases where the owner does not have an original one present, we request a core deposit until the original is sent to us. Used cores mailed to us must be at the expense of the customer. After successful inspection by John's Mustang and our suppliers, we will credit the customer for the amount of the deposit. Please allow 2-3 weeks for refunds on core deposits.
Shipping Help
Minimum Charge
There is a minimum shipping charge of $8.00 per order. Standard UPS Ground shipping on orders shipped within the continental United States will cost approximately 10% of the order subtotal. All orders must be prepaid and we will not ship any packages COD. Please contact us for shipping charges and arrangements to Alaska, Hawaii, and all international destinations. Please note that oversize parts may be subject to an oversize fee (see Oversized Packages)
Free UPS Ground Shipping (on most orders above $300.00)
John's Mustang will pay all normal UPS Ground freight charges on prepaid orders for Classic Mustang parts above $300.00. This applies to all orders sent within the continental United States. Free shipping excludes orders that must be shipped by Truck Freight. Customer must always pay for COD and over-sized charges, and shipping on all items with a pre-set freight charge. Please note that free shipping does not apply to orders sent to Alaska, Hawaii, or any International destination. Late model Mustang parts are not applicable for free shipping.
Shipping and Handling Charges
In general, John's Mustang calculates shipping and handling based on the actual weight and size of the merchandise. We do not try to make money from hidden fees or grossly inflated shipping charges.
If the actual freight is under 10% (but above the minimum charge) you will be billed accordingly. Please note that some over-sized items and kits may require additional freight charges in excess of 10% for the order.
Oversized Packages
Oversized charges apply to all packages that exceed 60 inches in length or 108 inches overall dimension (length + 2 * (width + height)).
Orders Shipped to Alaska and Hawaii
John's Mustang can ship by Parcel Post, UPS and FedEx to Alaska and Hawaii. UPS and FedEx provide only Next Day and Second Day Air service. The customer is responsible for all freight charges.
Orders Shipped Outside the United States
Orders must be prepaid in US Funds by one of the following methods: American Express, Money Order, Wire Transfter, or Western Union. We can ship by UPS, Federal Express, Parcel Post, or Burlington Air Express. Burlington Air Express is usually the least expensive, but the customer will need to pick up the order at the nearest major airport. Please note that the customer will be responsible for the Customs and Duty taxes. Freight cost is usually 50% of the order. Any difference in freight cost (excess) will be refunded to you with your order. Sorry, no COD orders will be accepted.
Truck Freight
Policy
Items that are too large to ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) must be shipped by truck truck freight. These items are marked in the catalog, and are not limited to the following: Fenders, Hoods, Quater Panels and skins, and windshields. All truck freight orders must be prepaid.
On Arrival
Please inspect the shiment for damage before the driver leaves. This includes deliveries with no visible damage found on the outside of the box. Any damage must be reported to the driver. Make sure the driver writes "damaged parts" on the freight bill. Signing for the delivery is an acknowledgement by the customer that all parts received were in good condition at the time of delivery. Once the delivery has been signed for, John's Mustang and/or the trucking company will not be responsible for any damaged parts in the shipment.
Order Follow Up
Damaged Merchandise or Shortages
Please inspect your parts as soon as you receive them. Should you receive any parts that or damaged or missing because of a broken box, please contact the freight carrier immediately. They will process your claim and contact us concerning the damages. Please keep the original box and packing material for it will be needed for the claim.
Please do not return any damaged parts to John's Mustang. If anything in your order is damaged or missing, let us know within 3 working days. After this allotted time, we cannnot accept responsibility for the claim.
Exchanges & Returns
Please contact us prior to sending us any returns or exchanges. We do not accept returns sent back to us by C.O.D. Merchandise not returnable after 30 days and must be in returned uninstalled and in resellable condition. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can issue a Return Authorization. This RA must be printed clearly in large letters next to the shipping label. After the allotted time we cannot accept responsibility. All returns must be sent to John's Mustang prepaid by the least expensive way of transportation. Some returns may be subject up to a 20% restocking charge. Due to the bank's policy all returns paid by credit card are subject to a 5% credit card fee.

Refused and Returned Shipments
The customer is responsible for all shupping and storage charges. Please note there is a 10% handling fee for all refused and returned shipments. A 10% restocking fee will be applied to returned merchandise that is not defective. Due to the bank's policy all returns paid by credit card are subject to a 5% credit card fee.

Security
John's Mustang uses a 128-bit SSL server to transmit all sensitive customer information. This includes payment information as well as customer name and address. Payment information is stored off site, on a server not directly connected to the internet.
Please be aware that there is always small risk associated with every phone, online or in-person transaction. In general, companies can not guarantee a truly 100% secure transaction. To minimize the risk of credit card fraud, we will ship orders only to the credit card billing address (or any additional addresses listed with your credit card company).
